AU varsity squads: 3 intercollegiate sports for men (baseball, football, hockey) and 1 intercollegiate sport for women (cheerleading)
AU intermural squads: 9 self-organized sports and activities, both indoor and outdoor: band, chess, cross country, dogsledding, hunting, ice skating, ping-pong, skiing, sledding, snowball fighting.
Facilities and seating capacities: Gazprom Arena (Ice Box), 5,003 capacity seating; Otter Pops Field (Old College Park), 265 capacity seating
Intramural and recreational facilities: playing fields and gyms; ice arena; basketball, tennis, volleyball, ping pong, billiards, squash and racquetball courts; golf courses; swimming pools; indoor running tracks; and weight rooms.
