Sledding is an intramural sport at AU, and many students partake in crafting sledding runs, setting up courses, making out community standards specific to a certain course, and tallying results. "There are enough snow covered wastes around here to sled forever," said Randy Lauder, the fall 2007 overall winner relates, "if you like competitive sledding, come on down to see if you've got what it takes."
