Continents like Antarctica and Australia do not have countries immediately bordering them, and therefore most of our international relations are conducted with places far away- especially so in the case of Antarctica.

The International Relations Office co-ordinates and administers international collaboration of the Antarctica University, in particular:

  • Bilateral agreements with universities and research institutions abroad;
  • International research programmes co-ordinated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
  • Offers of the Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange;
  • Individual visits of academic staff and doctoral students abroad;
  • International delegations coming to the Antarctica University at the Rector's invitation;
  • Mutual accredation of university programs (Bologna Process).
