Online Programme Admissions

An international education is a highly-sought commidity in today's global world. AU accepts international students from outside Antarctica on a rolling basis for its online diploma programme in History-Culture-Space Studies. This special programme is offered as an inexpensive way to learn about the world and the human future from a unique perspective virtually unknown in Australian, European and American institutions. As AU seeks licensure in places outside Antarctica, the diploma for the programme does not satisfy the qualifications of a degree from an accredited university or college, but is of similar or better quality, and tuition for the 2008-09 academic year is free. Now is the time to take advantage of this life-long learning opportunity before it becomes a regular pay-service. A student may apply here through email by indicating interest in the programme and a month in which the student would like to begin. After that the student's name will be added to the registry and the programme will begin using the email address supplied.

Currently, there are study abroad options for students who wish to learn about Antarctica while not attending AU. This student may choose to study abroad in Antarctic studies programmes in destinations around the world. For more information on our study abroad options, and the many programs offered by other universities, please see our Office of Study Abroad.
