The arts and humanities permeate the cultural ways and means that give meaning to the human condition. They give us a broader perspective on our personal and social lives, and allow us a new set of practical tools to improve our rapidly changing global environment. UANT welcomes students to a fantastic and unique chance to choose the Shackleton Arts and Humanities College as their chosen discipline. The Shackleton College combines interdisciplinary study with personalized attention. You're intellectual and academic growth is assured by the College's capacity to generate an individualized program that includes, but is not limited to: art, literature, music and film, history, philosophy and ethics, and the study of cultures.

At Shacketon College, you will spur your imagination to question, study and adjudicate the world in all its complexity. You will be able to view, read, hear and see the work of top artists and scholars. On campus students will be able to get involved in community service, volunteer work, see artistic performances, and take a semester to study abroad.
