It is the pleasure of SCDF, created through the tireless work of UANT professors and administration, and with special recognition to the Economics faculty, to announce a ready state of preparedness to carry out the full defence of the area around the University Peak Campus and along the paths to and from, against foreign forces. The SCDF was created by the Antarctica Sovereign Wealth Fund (ASWF) in 2009.
Students Volunteer to Help Physical Training near UPC
Role: To defend University institutions on Antarctica from foreign military forces and terrorist tactics
Secondary Role: To organize clean-up and rebuilding operations after an attack.
Funding: SCDF is funded through the Antarctica Sovereign Wealth Fund.
Command: SCDF commanders are the designated campus monitors, whether permanent or on week-week duty rotation.
Monitors: Students may volunteer as monitors in exchange for free room and board during their on-campus stay on the University Peak Campus. Fill out an application here.
