UANT Whaling-  Step into the Ice!

Without whaling, the marine ecosystem around Antarctica would go off-balance, and some life forms would be in danger of extinction. Whaling has a proud tradition in Antarctic waters, dating from the early 20th Century. Whales are prized for their hides, blubber, flesh and in some cases, their teeth.
