Antarctica Concerts at the University of Antarctica's Icebox Concert Hall

Presents: PATRICK SWAYZE AND JOE COCKER OPENING FOR DURAN DURAN- IN CONCERT @ UANT's IceBox 1989 - A surprise appearance by Swayze shook up an already fantastic line as Duran Duran and Cocker arrived in Sept. 89 for a UANT concert done for charity. UANT awarded Swayze the Bronzed Star and inducted him onto its Hall of Heroes. Swayze's autographed portrait hangs in the atrium of Lason Hall to this day. He was just in Antarctica by accident and heard about the concert.
