Get Out of the Cradle!

1984's Out of the Cradle is perhaps the most important visual resource to space development since Bonestell.

Miller, Hartmann and Pamela Lee combined their vast talents and wove the dreams of a new generation.

Here in Lee's picture, water ice (hypothetical until just recently) is discovered by earthlings at the cusp of a polar night/day divide in one of the Moon's secret places: the shadow of a crater wall, in a ravine on the crater floor!
