Time for Hotels
Howard Bloom, speaking in Las Vegas, discussed with the crowd how in the 1940s people who put service stations with casinos in the desert got passing traffic but nothing spectacular.
When more opened, and a community began to be formed, with attractions and a tourism infrastructure, the emptiness sprouted to life, buzzing with activity.
Hotels are a logical step to building space infrastructure because they give ordinary Americans a place to call their own and talk about... a place above the sky. What's there not to like? |
