Antarctica Concerts at the University of Antarctica's Icebox Concert Hall

Presents: GERMAN TRINITY SERIES I: KRAFTWERK- IN CONCERT @ UANT's IceBox 1983 - A totally new sound. Techno in its original incarnation, computerized music was first brought by this German computer band. Kraftwerk's melodies about the fun of the Autobahn, the trans-Europa express train, a European version of the Orient express, and the mental anguish of the Cold War era over radioactive fallout evoked a hushed response at UANT. The idea that something new was being played was evident.
