DESCRIPTION

Modern history opens with the convulsions of the French Revolution's aftermath and a return to the conservative royal orders in Europe, while in America a national republic experienced its adolescence. In this course, the mixed blessings of industrialism are factored in with the 19th Century social changes against the backdrop of the imperial world order. This course includes a 6,000 word writing requiremen. A grade of 2 or higher must be attained. 18 class hours.
